T.E.A.M. Indeed!
E3 Christian Academy is a remarkable school birthed out of the vision of our church, Bible Baptist Church. Our Pastor uses an acronym quite frequently that I believe a hundred percent in. T.E.A.M. . which stands for Together Everyone Accomplishes Ministry. That is so true for our school! So, I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to our wonderful teachers who will work together to accomplish the ministry God has called us to.
Mrs. Stutler will be the Homeroom teacher for 8th -12th grade. She will be teaching all students (3rd grade and up) Language Arts and History/Geography. She is also heading up our Fine Arts program. She is a graduate of Milan High School in southeastern Indiana and a 1993 graduate of the College of Mt. St. Joseph with a BA in Education and a focus in Music for Kindergarten – 12th grade.
Mrs. Stutler is a licensed teacher whose credentials include teaching 4th and 5th grade, Special Education for two and a half years and then Fine Arts for about 15 years. She has also in the past opened and ran her own private preschool for one year where she wrote the entire school curriculum. After a few years of staying at home to care for her family and aging father, she returned to public school in the area of Special Education once again. During those years of teaching, she has completed thirty graduate hours in courses ranging from effective teaching techniques, special education and working towards a reading specialty certificate.
She is looking forward to and is very excited to be entering
the private school sector and all that she will learn from this experience.
Mrs. Stutler has been married to her high school sweetheart, Todd
Stutler, for twenty four years now. She has been blessed through adoption with
two beautiful children. Her daughter
Isabella resides in heaven with the Lord and Ty, who is 9, is an active and amazing
young man who loves the Lord along with Science, soccer and Cub Scouts.
Mrs. Jensen will be the Homeroom teacher for 3rd -7th
grade. She will be teaching all students (3rd grade and up) Math and
Science. She is also heading up our PE program.
She has been a mathematics
educator for over twenty five years. Her teaching experience has included work
with various age learners, from preschool to adult, and various institutions
from public schools to community colleges to home school cooperatives. She is currently a nationally certified
instructor of two programs invented by Dr. Henry Borenson: "Hands-On
Equations," the fun way to learn algebra for grades 3 and up and
"Developing Fractions Sense," the powerful whole-brained
approach to teaching fractions.
When she isn't teaching mathematics, you can find her
raising her 6 kids or teaching water exercise. She is excited to teach at
E3 Christian Academy and looks
forward to the ways in which we will all learn from one another.
These ladies inspire me in so many ways. Their passion and
excitement for this next year is so contagious. I count it a real privilege to
work alongside of them for the glory of God and the benefit of our students.
Please keep them in prayer as they are the ones in the trenches (so to speak)
as they fulfill the calling on their life to help our students love and know
God and achieve academic success! God
has been so good to pull this team together. I know He will do great things
this school year!

Lord, we humbly
ask that You will anoint our teachers to speak words that would be like a
gentle rain on the soul of our students.
May they lift Your name up so that all will be drawn to You. May you
replenish them as they pour themselves out daily for Your glory and the
furtherance of Your Kingdom. Give them strength and wisdom. Let them be slow to anger and quick to
listen. Lord bless them and their families beyond their wildest imagination.
Thank you Lord for this TEAM. You have
indeed answered our prayers. Amen.
